Burial benefits for spouses and eligible dependents at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central include burial, a concrete grave liner, perpetual care, and the spouse or dependents name and date of birth and death will be inscribed on the Veteran's headstone, for a $500.00 fee to the family. Eligible spouses and dependents may be buried, even if they predecease the Veteran.

Burial benefits available for Veterans buried in a private cemetery include a government headstone or marker, a burial flag, and a Presidential Memorial Certificate, at no cost to the family. Some Veterans may also be eligible for burial allowances. There are not any benefits available to spouses and dependents buried in a private cemetery.

One of the many ways we honor the veterans we serve & their families is by the use of our flag pole. Any time our flag is flying at half-staff it is because we are taking care of a veteran who has passed away.

It is an honor anytime we take care of someone who has served our country. We know there are many important details to consider when arranging a service for a veteran. Some of those considerations include: providing military honors, providing information for the newspaper notice, burial and survivor benefits, and more. We are here to help families with all these considerations and provide a service that shows the upmost respect to them & their loved ones.
